The Sedative Poison Vial is a non-lethal poison featured in the World of Assassination Trilogy. It can be used to contaminate consumables such as food or drink, and will non-lethally incapacitate a target immediately upon ingestion. 47 can administer the poison into valid items at will, though doing so in a public area will arouse suspicion. This can be avoided by wearing an appropriate disguise, such as a waiter's outfit.

- Insecticide - A sedative with strange properties.
- Sedative Pills - The consumed sedative in HITMAN™ 2.
Trivia[]
- A victim of sedative poison will instantly lose consciousness on the spot; should their body be found, it will not invalidate a Silent Assassin ranking.
- The label lists the full effects of the poison as a "Benzodiazepine sedative. Hypnotic, anticonvulsant, muscle relaxant. Causes immediate incapacitation." The label also indicates that the poison is intended for intravenous (IV) use.
- Given its suggested method of delivery, it is possible, though not confirmed, that the Modern Sedative Syringe and the Kalmer 1 and 2 uses the same poison as the vial.
- Unlike the other poison vials, the sedative vial's inventory icon displays the rear of the bottle rather than the front in HITMAN™ 2. This was changed in HITMAN™ III.
- Like all vials and pills, HITMAN™ III features two versions of the Sedative Poison Vial, which differ only in appearance.
