Sierra Knox, (also known as "The Daredevil") is a target that appears in The Finish Line mission in HITMAN™ 2.
Background[]
Sierra Knox graduated from Harvard business school and, without telling her father, secured a job with Kronstadt Industries, diligently working her way to the top of the financial department, finally interviewing for the position of CFO with her somewhat surprised father.
Sierra Knox has been instrumental in developing the money-earning side of the family business, and she has secured many deals with foreign nationals, including a very controversial decision to field test robot material in the field in several rogue nations. While the loss of civilian life was never formally assigned as collateral damage following those tests, leaked internal reports suggest as much.
Sierra suffers from a serious inferiority complex in relation to her father. Always trying to prove herself to him, but often coming up short, she is uncertain about whether he truly cares for her or not. Her insecurity causes her to act out, often irrationally or violently, and she is known for her lifestyle of working hard and partying even harder.
Sierra Knox is currently highly invested in the Kronstadt racing team and is the company's lead driver in the Innovation Race. She's won the race multiple times and is expected to bring home the trophy again.Behavior[]
Sierra Knox can be seen driving at the Global Innovation Race, as she will try to beat Moses Lee's consecutive record. After she races, it is a tradition that Sierra has a drinking contest with Moses himself. According to a patron in the lounge, the competition once got on the cover of Celeb News Magazine, and one year Sierra managed to get Moses Lee to drink two shots of gasoline. 47 can participate if disguised as Moses Lee, and there are Challenges involved with this drinking contest. When she drinks the chili shot with 47 disguised as Moses Lee, she will run to the kitchen and drink the glass of milk, which 47 can poison.
If the player arranges for her to win the race, Sierra will drink champagne out of the large winner's trophy during the ceremony, which presents an opportunity to poison her. Moses Lee, however, does not do the same if he wins. This may be because it is not considered good conduct, according to Maxwell Rutter.
Assuming 47 does not interfere, Sierra will place second in the race by default. Additionally, a news report in Santa Fortuna confirms that Moses Lee won the Global Innovation Race in canon.
Personality[]
Sierra Knox is a short-tempered, wrathful, reckless and tomboyish racer who is prone to violent temper when cornered, even to the point of committing murder against a blackmailer who tried to threaten her with her father's crimes. She is also a sore loser and cheater who kept sabotaging the vehicles of other racers throughout the years.
However, Sierra also shows some weak side, especially in front of her father, showing insecurity and an inferiority complex in front of him, and wants his acknowledgement desperately. Whilst being aggressive towards most people, she is also shown to be somewhat friendly towards her friends and waiters (as shown when 47 was dressed like a waiter). Despite Sierra's bio stating she has used destructive and immoral tactics to ensure she wins competitions, a Kronstadt engineer can comment that Sierra refused to use the high-powered octane fuel because "she wanted to win on her own."
Sierra Knox is an enforcer of the Crashed Kronstadt Driver disguise because she is friends with Thierry Durand.

Trivia[]
- According to a conversation between two of Sierra's friends outside the interview stage, Sierra used to have an "old flame" named Romanov. After they had broken up, Romanov dated a Swedish model named Eliza - Eliza was mugged after her third date with Romanov, but the would-be thieves severely beat her without stealing anything (implying that they were sent by Sierra). Romanov and Eliza soon broke up, after which Romanov moved to a remote island in the South Pacific and has remained single since.
- In contracts mode, if a level has her as a target, she will appear out of bounds.
- Shooting her car still kills her.
- Oddly enough, in contrast to the comparison and behavior between her and Moses Lee, it’s likely her and Lee are around the same age.
- Throughout the level, press reporters can discuss several rumors about Sierra.
- A woman can be heard telling a reporter that Sierra is not just single, but has no interest in men. This is likely a hint that Sierra is lesbian. If Sierra wins the race, a reporter can ask if her relationship with Brigitte is purely platonic, or "something more."
- If Sierra wins the race, a reporter can ask about a rumor that Sierra was arrested for possession (of drugs) in New York recently, and whether her father really had to cover it up.
- If Sierra wins the race, a reporter suggests that Robert Knox actually does not plan to leave Sierra the company in the event of his death.
- Sierra can also be overheard speaking to Heidi, saying she hasn't seen her "since Jordan's funeral," meaning Sierra presumably knew Jordan Cross.
- Her Quacker (parody of Twitter) handle is @HARDKnox.
- If Sierra spots 47 hanging onto the elevator shaft after she murders the blackmailer, she will stomp on 47's fingers, sending him falling to his death into the shaft. She is one of the few targets, and the only female target, in the World of Assassination series that can purposely and directly kill 47, the others being Patrick Morgan, Sully Bowden, the ICA agents from Apex Predator and Noel Crest.
- Sierra and her father may have been partially based on father and son Lawrence Stroll and Lance Stroll, a billionaire fashion mogul and prominent Formula 1 driver, respectively. Sierra may also have been based on Alexis DeJoria, a professional drag racer and Paul Mitchell/Patron heiress.
- Both Sierra and Moses appear to be out of bounds in the game during Contracts mode, however, they can still be killed in their respective race cars while the race is still ongoing.
