Silent Assassin is a recurring challenge introduced in HITMAN™, which was refined and updated with each game in the World of Assassination trilogy.
Objectives[]
- Complete the mission.
- Only kill the targets.
- No bodies found.
- Do not get compromised.
- If you are detected by cameras, erase or destroy the evidence.
- Complete Silent Assassin challenges on Casual / Professional / Master difficulty. (only in HITMAN™ 2)
- Complete 5 / 12 / 17 Silent Assassin challenges. (Multiplyers, only in HITMAN™ III)

- +5000 Mission Mastery Paris/Sapienza/Marrakesh/Bangkok/Colorado/Hokkaido. (HITMAN™)
- +4000 XP. (HITMAN™ 2 and HITMAN™ III, applies for all difficulties in HITMAN™ 2)
- Progress towards The Classics challenges.
- Progress towards the Train Surfing trophy/achievement. (Carpathian Mountains only)

Trivia[]
- The challenge refers to the highest mission rating available throughout the Hitman series.
- Because this challenge appears on multiple missions, the objectives, location and reward are subject to each mission and progress independently.
- HITMAN™ 2 introduced challenges specific to each difficulty, that would each grant XP however these were depricated in HITMAN™ III in favour of a tiered reward system for completing certain numbers of challenges.
- In HITMAN™ III the description states that the player must not get compromised in order to complete the challenge, however the challenge operates in the same way as earlier games, in that being spotted at all will void the challenge.
- Losing server connection for any reason and being unable to reconnect can also cost the player Silent Assassin.
- Despite not being listed under for the missions, completing Silent Assassin for the Bonus Missions, Patient Zero missions and Special Assignments count towards the multiplyers.
- All Sarajevo Six Silent Assassin missions do not count towards the multiplyers.
