Sinhi Venthan, (also known as "Akka" and The Corsair), is a pirate and a target who appears in the Shadows in the Water mission in Ambrose Island, the seventh mission of HITMAN™ III.
Background[]
It took time for Akka to demonstrate her worth to the rest of the population. She was a capable raider, but she was even better at assessing targets and developing strategies of approach. She was relatively indifferent to life and unafraid to take it when needed, coldly gauging risk on practical costs rather than human ones. She managed to enrich her crew in periods when others were growing lean, intensifying territory disputes as a result, but Akka and her men seemed to thrive no matter what stretch of water they hunted in. Pirates from rival groups began defecting to work beneath her instead. When another leader was killed in a botched raid, his crew folded itself in eagerly under Akka's rule. Before the remaining petty rulers of Ambrose knew it, she had amassed enough manpower to overthrow them- and she did just that. Their crews were subsumed into her own, and they themselves were swiftly killed and disposed of in the sea. This is how Akka became the pirate queen of
Ambrose Island.
This satisfied her for a time until recently. Evidently, her base began to feel less like a throne and more like a cell. Chafing against the limitations of their isolation, Akka began reaching out to other groups operating in the Strait and more widely abroad. Gradually, she's pieced together a tenuous (and by necessity low-tech) syndicate of outlaws extending as far as the Pacific Ocean. In cells and pockets, their expertise, resources, techniques, and information are shared with Akka at their epicenter.
Meanwhile, her formerly close relationship with Farah has waned. There can only be one point around which the people of Ambrose Island orbit, and Akka would prefer it to be her.Personality[]
Sinhi "Akka" Venthan is the cutthroat and stony-hearted leader of a rapacious pirate's syndicate. Akka showed she had strength and strategic prowess and soon went from an ordinary girl to a pirate queen. Akka is known to operate in the Pacific with her gang of outlaws, enriching herself and those who are loyal to her while suppressing anyone who dares to oppose her. Akka knows no pity, to the point she dares to do anything and ruthlessly overwhelms all who stand in her way.
An adopted child, she has a tough exterior with little interest in meeting new people. However, she still has a soft spot for a businessman named Lance Hsu and will show compassion if it is revealed to her that he has died inside the ruins. On top of that, she wanted him alive because he is about to set-up the fees from Chiron's insurance in exchange for the hostages she has abducte -, namely Carlton Smith and Joyo Yani. Akka has also developed a camaraderie with Farah, who has served as her foster parent and her closest friend on the island. Without her, Akka would not be the same person as she is today. Despite not having any family, she has treated her people and her co-pirates in the village like a family and kept them protected against any intruders. She is also happy to see Torres Piombo, the island's smuggler, and will negotiate preferential terms in doing business if Agent 47 disguises as him and arranges a meeting with her on the pirate cliffs.
Akka has the eye of a hawk for recognizing people, claiming that she knows every person that has stepped on the island (prior to 47 himself). She can see through some disguises like the Pirate and Metal Worker outfits in all 3 difficulties of the game when worn.
During the Shadows in the Water mission, Akka and her gang of pirate thieves have joined forces with Noel Crest and his militia boys on the Andaman Sea in raiding a parcel tanker in the South China Sea. She currently has an active sanctioned ICA contract even before the events of The Ark Society happened, and taking her out will be creating a plausible story to cover up for the agency, as well as the downfall of her pirate's conglomeration.

- Sinhi "Akka" Venthan was the featured character that was showcased in the sandbox's loacation reveal trailer released on July 8, 2022.
- Should 47 presents a photo of Lance Hsu to Farah or places it on Sinhi Venthan's desk, she will call a meeting with Noel Crest and take him to the tower.
- Akka will then kick Noel Crest off the tower killing him, making him count as one of the games proxy targets.
- She drops a Pirate Key and the second half of the Satellite Control's Key Card when she is pacified or killed.
- It is unknown who exactly put the original contract on Akka.
