Smoking Hazard is an assassination to achieve in The Showstopper mission in Paris.
To accomplish the challenge, Agent 47 must assassinate Viktor Novikov with a gas lamp explosion.
Loosening the gas valves on the lamps requires a wrench (itself a suspicious act, which requires timing and discretion), and the explosion is initiated by shooting the lamp itself or by someone nearby lighting a cigarette. The explosion is likely to kill nearby non-targets, especially Novikov's ever-present bodyguard.

Guide[]
- Start in the attic.
- Bring a silenced pistol.
- If you have it, bring the Handyman Wrench. (This item can be unlocked by beating the Featured Contracts - Track 1, Tier 4 challenge.)
- Go through the door in front of you
- Wait for the two bodyguards to finish their conversation.
- Knock out the CICADA Bodyguard who stays behind and take his disguise.
- If you do not have the Handyman Wrench, go forwards and grab the Wrench in the attic.
- Head to the Pavilion Garden.
- Loosen the valve on the gas lamp.
- Head towards the bar's Terrace and talk to Max Decker.
- Escort Decker to the rendezvous spot.
- Go to a spot in the Pavilion where you can easily shoot the gas lamp. (Remember to be mindful of Novikov, Kurt and the wandering bodyguards, as they are all enforcers to the CICADA Bodyguard disguise.)
- Wait for Novikov to have his meeting with Decker.
- Shoot the gas lamp heater.
