Akiko Hamada, codename Soji, is a sniper recruited by the ICA under Initiative 426, The Shadows. She is playable in Hitman Sniper: The Shadows.

Raised by her brother, Soji grew up fighting for every breath and morsel in a poor neighborhood in the Tottori prefecture. Superstitious neighbors believed the girl was cursed and did her best to avoid her. She spent most of her childhood shadowing her brother as he trained her in martial arts. Until one day her brother was tortured and killed by local thugs in an unfortunate mistaken identity. This murder forged her already cold demeanor into a sharp edge. After wiping out the local gang, Soji became a ghost, reappearing periodically to decimate another crew of thugs.
Soji's skills in the assassination market along with killings of the thugs have gain the attention from the ICA. Soji is then recruited by the ICA under Initiative 426, The Shadows.
