The TAC-4 S/A is a semi-automatic carbine in HITMAN™ and HITMAN™ 2. It is suppressed and relatively powerful, being able to take down most enemies with a shot or two to the torso. Its semi-automatic fire mode makes it excellent for conserving ammo, as it can hold 120 rounds in reserve, as well as 30 in the magazine.

Trivia[]
- Despite being listed as an assault rifle, it fires solely in semi-automatic, meaning that it is not by definition an assault rifle.
- As of HITMAN™ 2 however, the gun forgoes the 'AR' portion of the name in the inventory, though it is still classed as one in-game.
- In HITMAN™ III it no longer has the Steady Aim perk.
- The ammo for this weapon is shared with assault rifles/carbines in the game, making it an excellent weapon for large-scale engagements, as you will not often need to reload or pick up more ammo. Only a few missions have assault rifles and/or carbines, however, so you may not be able to get more ammo if it is needed.
- The weapon is shown with a holographic sight affixed to its top rail, though this is for cosmetic purposes only and does not affect aiming.
- The TAC-4 S/A Jungle is a re-skinned version of this weapon.
