The Great Thief is an assassination challenge to achieve in the Golden Handshake epilogue mission in New York.
To accomplish this challenge, Agent 47 must assassinate Director Athena Savalas by shooting her with the Golden Sawed-Off Bartoli 12G.

Notes[]
- This mission requires the player to trigger an Easter Egg within the Vault of Golden Handshake by collecting the seven Goldbars while disguised as the bank robber, which will give the player the Golden Sawed-Off Bartoli 12G to complete the mission.
- The player does not need to keep the bank robber disguise on to keep the shotgun or to fulfill the challenge; once the player has it, they can wear any outfit.
Trivia[]
- Strangely, the bank robber mask in the challenge tile is not golden, despite it turning gold upon completing the easter egg.
- The mask will stop being golden if the player swaps to a different disguise, then swaps back to the Bank Robber disguise.
