The Last Resort is the eighth and final mission of HITMAN™ 2, and was the second mission available as part of HITMAN™ 2's Expansion Pass content, released on September 24th, 2019. It is only available in the World of Assassination Deluxe Edition, or sold seperately as part of the Deluxe Pack or Hitman 3 Access Pass: Hitman 2 Expansion.
With the data successfully recovered from the Milton-Fitzpatrick servers in New York and decrypted by Olivia Hall, it is revealed that all three Providence Partners made transactions roughly around the same time to the same company, shortly before their supposed "deaths"; Haven, a reputation management service, whose secret agenda is to make wealthy criminals disappear. However, Olivia is incapable of hacking their servers and discovering the Partners' new identities, due to the owners resetting the access keys every ten hours, which targets them for elimination. Agent 47, under his usual alias Tobias Rieper, checks in to Haven's private island resort base in the Maldives, in order to eliminate Tyson Williams, the company's founder and rumoured-tyrannical CEO, Ljudmila Vetrova, former con-artist and client recruiter/handler, and Steven Bradley, black hat hacker and chief software engineer at Haven.

A seaplane soars over an idyllic island beach.
Agent 47 (VO): "So, this is paradise."
Lucas Grey (VO): "If you can afford it."
Inside the plane's cockpit, 47 and Grey listen to Diana Burnwood over comms.
Diana (COM): "Gentlemen. Glad to hear you made it out of New York. Where are we?"
Grey: "Olivia decrypted the data 47 recovered from the bank. We isolated three transactions from Providence Partner accounts."
The plane descends towards a cluster of islands.
HAVEN
Grey (VO): "All made out to HAVEN - a small corporation operating out of the Maldives."
Agent 47: "And what does HAVEN do?"
Fade out.
Agent 47 (VO): "The partners are using HAVEN to acquire new identities."
Grey (VO): "Yes. Olivia's been attempting to hack the HAVEN servers but the owners of HAVEN are manually resetting the access keys every ten hours."
Cut to Grey and 47 back in the cockpit.
Grey (CONT'D): "That, unfortunately, makes them targets."
Grey flies the plane higher.
Diana (VO): "Haven Island is a true tropical paradise. Owned by the company's founder Tyson Williams, the island is used by HAVEN as a combined headquarters and client entertainment center. Current and potential clients are ferried to the island and are treated to the very best the Maldives have to offer. Michelin Star chefs, a full massage spa, private huts, exercise facilities and all the comforts of a luxury island resort are made available to them.
47, we'll be sending you in as a potential new client. We've put together a convincing cover story - you're Mr. Rieper, a thief-for-hire looking to disappear for a while. Your mission on the island is simple. You need to eliminate the three owners of HAVEN - Tyson Williams, founder and rumored tyrannical CEO of HAVEN. Ljudmila Vetrova, a former confidence artist hired by Williams to serve as a client recruiter and handler. And Steven Bradley, technical wizard and the brains behind HAVEN's proprietary software platform."
Grey (VO): "With the owners gone, Olivia will be able to penetrate the HAVEN servers long enough for her to secure the new partner identities."
Grey meets 47 on a tropical beach near Haven Island.
Diana (VO): "I've uploaded all the information we have on the island and the three targets. Best of luck, gentlemen."
Agent 47: "Hmm. I don't rely on luck."
Grey: "Well, a little wouldn't hurt."
In the distance, a plane soars towards the Island on the horizon.

Olivia Hall: "We’re in! Whatever your robot did back on the island, it worked. Let’s see…"
Data cascades down Olivia’s screen as she scans the files.
Hall: “Yeah, here we are.”
Diana Burnwood: “You found them?”
Hall: “Yeah. They’re right here. But… wait a minute. Something’s off. See here? All those controlling shares, those are basically the backbone of the Providence empire. But they’re not going to the new Partner identities.”
Diana: “What do you mean?"
Hall: “I mean, they’re allocated to someone else. Everything is. The partners are left with no real control.”
Arthur Edwards’ name ominously appears on screen.
Hall: “Who is Arthur Edwards?”
Diana rushes through the ship, only to find that the chair where Edwards had been tied up is now empty.
Diana: “The Constant!”
Grey waits by his seaplane back in the Maldives, when his cell phone starts to ring nearby.
Grey: “Message from Olivia. Everything’s going to plan. We know where the partners are. We have our targets.”
He joins 47 looking out onto a stormy sea.
Grey: “We’re almost there, old friend. Feels…good, doesn't it? We should head out before the storm hits. Time to fulfill our purpose, 47.”
47: “To take them all down.”
The clouds start to crackle with thunder and lightning as the men determinedly look on.
Description[]
After successfully breaking into The Partners' bank accounts, 47 and his allies have discovered the Partners have made payments to Haven, a company operating out of a high end luxury resort in the Maldives. Obstensibly a resort that offers 'reputation management' for celebrities, Haven's true stock and trade is in providing wealthy criminals with new identities to go into hiding.
Olivia Hall, Grey's expert hacker, has been unable to break into Haven's servers, due to the company's owners resetting the access keys on a regular basis. In order to help Olivia break in and uncover The Partner's locations, 47 must infiltrate the resort as a guest and eliminate Haven's owners: the founder of the company Tyson Williams, his right hand woman Ljudmila Vetrova, and the island's computer expert, Steven Bradley.
After 47 completes his mission, Olivia is able to access the Partners' records, and discovers their new identities. But she also discovers that the Partners have been left with no control over Providence. All of the controlling shares in the organisation have been transferred to Arthur Edwards - The Constant. Diana rushes to confront him, only to discover he has escaped.

Target Lockdown[]
- When Tyson Williams go into lockdown his security team will escort him to his underground facility in the villa.
- When Steven Bradley and Ljudmila Vetrova go into lockdown their security team will escort them to one of the utility huts around the island.
Trivia[]
- A large holographic jellyfish appears in the air above the underground server bank as a representation of Haven's supercomputer system. It ordinarily emits a soft blue glow which will transition to red when the system is in jeopardy.
- This is the only mission in the World of Assassination trilogy where the weather changes as the mission progresses. As soon as any two out of the three targets have been eliminated, the weather goes from clear and calm skies to strong winds, with an approaching thunderstorm appearing on the horizon.
- If you deflate all 18 inflatable crocodiles on the map, a secret exit will be available, in which 47 will lazily float off Haven Island on an inflatable crocodile of his own.
- Once all targets are eliminated, the hesitant diver in the Villa has successfully jumped and you have collected all 11 Haven pamphlets across the map, a tornado with several moose flying around in it will appear in the far north.
- Once the weather has changed, shooting 14 hidden golden skulls around the map will spawn an eerie ghost-ship floating around the island.
