Here are three ways to kill the targets for the Silent Assassin Rating:
- Poisoning the drink
- Disguising as the Red Dragon Negotiator
- Sniping
Poisoning the drink[]
This is one of the lowest risk and easiest way of getting Silent Assassin rating.
At the start of the level, go to the right and follow the road until the rest is on your left, there's an alley nearby with a staircase leading down, in the basement of the restaraunt, where's the control of the gas for the kitchen, further to the left there's the back entrance to the kitchen of the restaurant and a ladder leading in the bathroom, locked from the inside.
Pick the lock, then get out and go to the right of the alley where there's a manhole, go down the ladder and pick up the poison there.
Get back out, and get on the road and go on the right, when it should be a big red and white sign with a blinking street light nearby, to the left of that sign, there's a small alley where the Red Dragon Negotiator is going to take a leak. Kill him by using the fiber wire and throw his body down in the manhole.
Go down the ladder, and pick up everything he has, also take his outfit if you want to take back your suit later.
Go back to the alley to the basement entrance, there should be a red car outside that can have its alarm triggered to get the policemen to leave the entrance of the basement.
Go in the alley near the car, and shoot the car with the Red Dragon Negotiator's gun (otherwise unsilenced is going to attract attention).
Now the policemen should be moving away and you can return to the restaurant alley, but be sure to not be close to the policemen or they'll stop to look at you.
Go down the basement, and turn off the gas at the end of the room.
Wait either on the other side of the door of the basement entrance or in the room nearby, when the cook comes, wait for him to go to the end of the room and then sedate him.
Take his outfit and get out, but don't forget to grab his key, now go back out of the basement and go to the left, to the back entrance.
There's a serving tray with two drinks on it, and now use the poison on the drinks, but beware of the bartender, as he will immediately recognize that 47 is an impostor, now place the amulet on the serving tray (select the amulet in the inventory to do so).
By being cautious, wait until the bartender goes talking to the policeman, and place the serving tray on the counter, then by standing near the door so that the bartender doesn't see you, ring the bell so that the bartender will come and pick up the serving tray and bring it upstairs, in the meantime, leave the restaurant and go back in the alley where the Red Dragon Negotiator's body is hidden, change back into the suit, and as you climb back out, the targets should be already poisoned and dead, so walk to your EXIT point.
Disguising as the Red Dragon Negotiator[]
This method is a little more complicated than the first method, but comes more naturally if you have played the equivalent mission in Codename 47.
First of all, Go in the restaurant alley near the basement, pick the lock of the basement and take the chef disguise. Now go and assassinate the Red Dragon Negotiator, take his weapon, but don't take his disguise yet.
Climb through the window and drop all guns in the bathroom (the chef disguise will be needed because everybody will blow your cover if you climb the windows with your suit). After that, go back to where the Red Dragon's body is. Take his disguise, and take his amulet. Go to the restaurant from the front door, 47 will be stopped by a policeman that will relinquish any weapon 47 has on himself.
Enter the restaurant and talk to the bartender. He will give you the key to the bathroom and you can go there to take your weapons. And finally, go to where your targets are, and by being careful using the staircase or the corner on the left as cover shoot them in the head to kill them both. Now get out, retrieve your suit if you like and leave to the EXIT point.
Alternate entrance[]
There's another way of getting in, first go to the restaurant basement and pick the lock, take the cook disguise and sabotage the gas, now get out and go to the right, on the road, to assassinate the Red Dragon Negotiator, take everything that he has and his outfit.
Climb back out, now get on the back entrance of the restaurant, there should be a red car outside, go in the opposite alley where there is a yellow garbage bin and the road blocked by an iron railing, and shoot the car making sure that there are no civilians nearby the car.
Now get on the restaurant back entrance, and get inside the restaurant using the kitchen door, go upstairs, talk to the police chief and get away to sneak near them and shoot them both in the head. Place the Red Dragon Amulet on the table and walk out to the EXIT point.
Sniper method[]
Run all the way to the vantage point looking into the restaurant and climb the ladder on the scaffolding and drop your suitcase there.
Run all the way to where the red dragon negotiator is taking a leak and strangle him then hide his body in the sewer. Take the amulet and his clothes.
Run back to where you left your suitcase, equip it and when the heads of the 2 targets align, snipe them.
When they are dead leave the sniper and enter the restaurant and leave the amulet on top of the table and get to an EXIT point.
Variations:[]
A nice disguise[]
At the start of the mission, go to the restaurant basement, picking the lock. In the side room, you'll find a spare chef-uniform.
Continue using any of the methods above, only you can now freely move around behind the restaurant.
Avoiding the bartender[]
When inside the kitchen, crouching (hold ctrl) will keep you out of sight of the bartender.
