The Serial Killer is the sixth Elusive Target Mission in HITMAN™ 2, and the thirty-second overall, and tasks you with eliminating The Censor. It takes place in Whittleton Creek with most of the same characters that are encountered in Another Life. However, several new characters with unique appearances have been added to the map in order to make identifying the target more challenging.

Diana Burnwood (VO): "Good morning, 47. Your target is the infamous serial killer known as "The Censor".
With a flair for the theatrical, The Censor acts as an examiner who grades his victims based on how much they struggle for their lives. The true identity of The Censor is unfortunately unknown, but the discovery of two recent victims indicates he is now exploring Whittleton Creek, Vermont, in search of prey. We only have a limited window of opportunity here, 47. Find The Censor and make sure he never grades anyone again. Best of luck."

Trivia[]

  • Killing The Censor whilst remaining unnoticed will make Diana jokingly grade the elimination with an A+.
  • Unlike most elusive targets, Diana will not introduce The Censor upon coming into close proximity with him. Searching the computer of two of Nolan Cassidy's agents in the Schmidt Residence garden or interacting with Gorski will identify him.
  • In the briefing, a victim by the name of Susan Miller has a sticky note stuck to her with the letter F, suggesting that she received an F grade, corroborating this fact is that in the graphics it states: "VICTIM: SUSAN MILLER, F". Although right under it the graphic also says she was awarded an A+.
    • This is likely a mistake seen as the news report in the mission states his highest grade ever awarded was a B-.
