The Undying[]

Diana Burnwood (VO): "Good morning, 47. Your target is Mark Faba, also known as "The Undying".
A disgraced former MI5 operative currently working as a freelance assassin, Faba has been confirmed killed by ICA agents more than a dozen times. On every occasion, he has managed to come back from the dead. We have confirmation that Faba has a meeting in the Miami Bayside Center to review details on a new target. An informant at the site has provided us with reliable intel on Faba's expected movement around the Center. This information has revealed several viable approaches. As you know... Our inside man is meeting with the target. Acquire the right disguise. And he'll get you inside the heart of the building. Up close and personal is risky but favors the clean kill. Alternatively... Smuggle in a sniper rifle via briefcase. The Race Tower is a perfect vantage point. But access is restricted. Race security is high. Get through the right door. And time your shot perfectly. Or... Infiltrate through the staff entrance at the back of the building. Access the second floor using the elevator shaft. Move unseen inside the weapons demo room and infiltrate as you see fit. Act once an opportunity presents itself. Or rig the room to your advantage and leave unseen. Be mindful, however, the repercussions of being exposed here would be severe. I'm confident even more opportunities will reveal themselves once you arrive on site. 47, to be entirely honest; this one's a bit of an embarrassment. Please make sure he doesn't come back again. The ICA has struck a deal with Dave Ready, one of the two men your target has come to Miami to meet with. Ready got in some trouble with the Moreno cartel and the ICA has promised to clean it up for him if he helps us get close to Mark Faba. Ready is currently waiting for you in the reception area of the Bayside Center.

Mastery Level Type Unlock Description
2 Starting Location Dolphin Fountain 47 has slipped away from the main race and starts near a beautiful dolphin fountain outside the Kronstadt Bayside Center. He is wearing his normal civilian clothes.
2 Tool Lockpick Mk II A set of lockpicks. Can be used to open locked doors. This one has the signature Mk II look.
2 Loadout All Loadout Slots Available Gives you the option to use loadout slots during the planning phase of the mission. This can be used to bring items you have unlocked into the level.
3 Hidden Stash (Small) Kronstadt Reception The ICA can conceal a small item on a magazine stand in the reception area of the Bayside Center.
4 Starting Location Marina 47 has arrived at the Innovation Race by boat and starts his mission by the beautiful marina.
4 Melee Fish A fish. Effective as a non-lethal, blunt weapon.
5 Hidden Stash (Small) Stands Toilet The ICA can conceal a small item in a toilet trash bin under the stands.
5 Sniper Rifle Jaeger 7 Mk II A modern marskman's rifle. Highly accurate and modular, allowing extensive customization. This one has the signature Mk II look.
6 Starting Location Stands 47 has outdone himself and can start his mission in the spectator stands, disguised as the flamingo mascot.
7 Agency Pickup (Large) Boat Rental Hut The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into the Boat Rental Hut.
7 Pistol HWK 21 Mk II A modern light pistol. Rapid firing with good magazine capacity. This one with the signature Mk II look.
8 Starting Location Food Stand 47 has managed to infiltrate the catering services at the race and starts between the stands and the paddock street, disguised as a food vendor.
8 Hidden Stash (Small) Podium Storage The ICA can conceal a small item on a bookshelf in the podium building.
9 Starting Location Overpass 47 has infiltrated the overpass near the hotel and has disguised himself as a race marshal.
10 Tool ICA Proximity Taser An ICA proximity taser. A device that sends out an electrical surge upon detonation. This device will detonate if anyone comes inside the proximity of it and it is placed in water. It will also affect anyone trying to pick it up.
11 Agency Pickup (Large) Backstage Truck The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into a backstage truck.
12 Starting Location Drivers' Lounge 47 has infiltrated the VIP Drivers' Lounge and disguised himself as a bartender.
13 Agency Pickup (Large) Parkside Food Stands The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into the park side food stands.
13 Explosive Proximity Explosive Rubber Duck Mk II A medium explosive device designed to resemble a rubber duck. Detonated by proximity. Exercise caution when placing. Will attract casual attention if spotted. It also has the signature Mk II look.
14 Starting Location Podium 47 has infiltrated deep inside the Global Innovation Race backstage area and starts his mission at the podium, disguised as event crew.
15 Agency Pickup (Large) Kronstadt Storage Area The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into the Kronstadt storage area.
15 Pistol Concept 5 Kronstadt produced firearm. Used to test Kronstadt android systems. With automatic fire and fairly low recoil.
16 Starting Location Medical Area 47 has infiltrated the emergency facilities at the Global Innovation Race and starts in the medical bay reception area, disguised as a medic.
17 Agency Pickup (Large) Thwack Paddock The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into the Thwack Paddock.
18 Starting Location Kronstadt Bayside Center 47 has infiltrated the Kronstadt Bayside Center and starts in the upstairs conference room, disguised as an engineer.
18 Distraction ICA Remote Audio Distraction Mk II An audio distraction device. Remotely triggered. Will attract an individual in hearing range. Expect security staff to investigate if present. It also has the signature Mk II look.
19 Agency Pickup (Large) Pit Building Locker Room The ICA can smuggle a briefcase containing a large item into the pit building locker room.
20 Starting Location Kowoon Pit 47 has gone deep undercover and starts his mission inside the Kowoon pits, disguised as a mechanic.
20 Explosive Concussion Grenade A concussion grenade. Can be thrown and detonates in a shockwave after a small delay. Rendering anyone close by unconscious.

  • Players who successfully eliminated Faba gained access to the Explosive Pen. Playing The Undying will complete the "Explosive Penmanship" Challenge and add the item to players' inventories. The Pen is also available in the mission if players opt to use it as part of Faba's elimination.
