Recommended loadout: Emetic Grenade, Remote Breeching Charge, Scrambler.
The Hotel Staff uniform is the best disguise for accomplishing the mission, as the Military Soldier uniform has too many enforcers who are in constant motion throughout the suite. The soldiers who guard the files are also enforcers for their own uniform. Hotel Staff has surprisingly few enforcers in the suite and are allowed everywhere, even the arms storage room and the bedrooms.
It is not possible for the player to wear the Military Officer uniform, unlike the campaign mission in which it appears. (This may vary between game versions.)
The disposable scrambler is not strictly necessary, as it is possible to steal a master keycard from the laundry room and run up to the Queen Suite in time to eliminate Adeze Oijofor. Likewise, the breeching charge is not strictly necessary if the player retrieves the safe key.
Obara(Oijofor) resides in the Queen suite and moves constantly between the floors. Obara will visit one of the isolated bedrooms(Ken Morgan's bedroom from the campaign mission) on the top floor alone early in the mission; it is relatively simple to catch her alone and eliminate her without notice, then store her in a closet. Later in the mission, she will meet with two other characters in the same room. They can be sickened with a thrown emetic grenade and prompted to disperse, allowing the player to eliminate Obara as she goes to vomit. It is preferable to save the emetic grenade for dealing with the security around the safe containing the files, however.
The files are located in the level 2 security room on the opposite side of the hotel. Military officers and Obara herself will drop a key to the safe when eliminated or pacified; however, the safe is guarded very closely by two soldiers who have no movement cycle and is checked periodically by a military officer. Although the Military Soldier uniform allows the player to open the safe without suspicion, both soldiers standing guard are enforcers for the disguise, though not the Hotel Security uniform. Acquire a Hotel Security disguise to enter the room, plant the explosive on the safe and detonate it, then sicken them with a thrown emetic and retrieve the files after they leave.
Trivia[]
- A unique machete owned by her can be found inside her suite. It can be unlocked for use outside of the elusive target contract by gaining Mastery in Bangkok.
- Adeze calls Richard Ekwensi, during a phone call. She is also canonically assassinated before Richard Ekwensi; in his contract, he correctly guesses that she was assassinated as someone knew the two were to meet at the hotel.
