Notes[]
- NPCs will not be alerted when Agent 47 carries or fires a gun, though they become witnesses. This is due to the prevalence of openly carried guns among the civilian guests, who sometimes even shoot things for fun.
- Except for the priest and waiters, every male NPC carries firearms. They shoot alligators or to celebrate the wedding.
- Swamp alligators eat NPCs and bodies that fall in the water. Alligators can be shot at and killed, but there seems to be an infinite amount of them.
- The dog near the dock barks if the player moves too close to the fence, alerting the gangsters. It can also count as a witness and attack 47 in battle.
- Buddy Muldoon journeys outside three times before the priest requests the wedding bell rung.
- Agent 47 can talk to Margeaux LeBlanc. He uses a fake name to introduce himself, and the bride seems to recognize it, meaning she knows 47's true intentions.
- If the bride witnesses 47 killing Buddy Muldoon without anyone around, she will not alert the guards. Nor will she do it if she finds her husband's body alone.
- 47 will start dancing with one of the women standing nearby after idling on the dance floor for approximately two minutes.[1]
- Agent 47 can participate in the fighting match without raising the alarm. The opponent is more resilient than the usual NPCs, and it takes multiple punches to knock him down. If knocked out, he immediately becomes hostile when woken up, which causes everyone around to become hostile.[1]
Bugs[]
- Xbox 360 Pick a cased rifle for the mission. Go to a pier with the wedding guests shooting alligators. There is a little table with a Shotgun and a wedding gift. Pick up the Shotgun first, then pick up the gift. Agent 47 will carry a rifle case and a gift in the same hand; the case will disappear from the inventory.
Trivia[]
- "Till Death Do Us Part" is a common phrase said between the groom and the bride at a Christian wedding.
- Agent 47 uses the alias "Jacob Leiter" while talking to Margeaux LeBlanc. "Leiter" is a German word for "Ladder", meaning the name references Jacob's Ladder from the Book of Genesis.
- The mission newspaper features an advertisement for the "new Pine Cone Rehabilitation Center," opening in Sicily, Italy. The original centre in California, USA, is where Flatline takes place.
- Although Agent 47 can attend the wedding in his suit, gangsters will verbally mock his attire, saying things like "It's a wedding, not a funeral." and "Are you trying to upstage the groom?"
- The guard dog is named General Lee, after the famous Confederate general Robert E. Lee.
Easter Eggs[]
- Shooting at the tiny silver button in the front left part of the house, partially in the swamp water, makes the men in a fighting match lose all but their underwear and rush to Agent 47 to applaud him. They will eventually return to fighting, still dressed in their underwear.[1] This might be a reference to SimCopter.[2]
- The TV in an intro shows a map of Denmark, the home country of the developers - IO Interactive.
