Tunnel Rat is the 16th mission in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, set in Nuristan (Afghanistan). It is the 3rd and final of the 3 parts mission on the cargo retrieval.

47 — it's Diana here. Your assignment is to eliminate Lieutenant Yussef Hussein, commanding officer of an underground base - see the surveillance video for ID.
Also, you need to secure the cargo that the khan tried to hide here, and have it transported safely to the surface. A chopper will pick up the cargo.
Lots of soldiers on the base, and patrolling guards on constant high alert — they will react immediately and swiftly, if you are detected.
Stealth and surprise is important here, 47 — I repeat: access the base, take out the lieutenant and secure a safe transport of the cargo to the surface.
Description[]
The mission begins with Agent 47 being dropped off outside the missile silo complex. His objective is to infiltrate the complex and disable the missile before it can be launched by the Russian military. However, the complex is heavily guarded, with several armed guards patrolling the area, as well as security cameras and booby traps.
To successfully complete the mission, players must use stealth and strategy to avoid detection and eliminate their targets. The complex consists of several different areas, including a barracks, a control room, and the missile silo itself. Players can choose their own path through the complex and complete objectives in any order they choose.

- There is an easter egg in the quarters of the lieutenant. It is full of boxes with the label of the previous Hitman game: "Hitman: Codename 47"
- This level's loading screen art was reused as concept art for Hitman: Contracts.[1]
- 47 can be seen wearing the suit in the title card, but 47 cannot wear it in this mission. The same applies for the other missions in Afghanistan as well. However, he does in the beta version of the game.
- This is one of the only two missions in the entire game where 47 can disguise himself as the target, the other one being Murder at the Bazaar, which is also set in Afghanistan.
