The Unused Chongqing Apartment (also known as the Deserted/Uninhabited apartment) is an unused location in HITMAN™ III. It appears in the base starting location of the mission 'End of an Era'.
Overview[]
Near the subway station in the Yuzhong District is a very large apartment complex. However hidden inside the apartment are two inaccessible rooms. If the player uses a free-camera + teleporter trainer, they can gain access into both rooms.
Various props can be destroyed if shot however what's interesting are four doors inside of the rooms. 2 go out into the player falling through the map and another two lead to the player inside one of the windowed balconies. The existence of the rooms are interesting, as no other apartment building on the map has an unused interior. This has lead some to speculate on if the map was intended to be bigger and the two rooms are leftovers of this.
Trivia[]
- If the player goes into the top room's kitchen, they can easily get stuck and unable to get free without use of a teleporter addon in their trainer.
